Vintage Philips Spotlight Theatre Runway Desk Table Light

A vintage aluminium Philips spotlight from Mansion Airfield in Kent, now rewired for domestic use, and mounted on a wooden base to make an unusual and striking desk or table lamp.
 
Stunning architectural finned aluminium body designed to dissipate the heat from the lamp, this elegant light has a protective glass cover for outdoor use, and is now re-wired with an inline switched cable, and a standard UK 3 pin plug.
 
The light will take any screw in bulb, and is shown here with a vintage filament lamp (bulb), though it would originally have had a PAR38 reflector spot lamp.
 
Approx 22cm in diameter x 30cm deep x 45cm tall.
